| Goodenow exhibit opens at Art Adventure |

Nancy Goodenow of Metolius will be the featured artist at Art Adventure Gallery during the month of August.
There will be an opening reception to meet the artist on Friday, Aug. 1, from 5 to 7:30 p.m.
Goodenow has been painting for many years and has studied with some well-known artists in Pennsylvania and in Florida. She moved here in 2006 from Cape Coral, Fla., where she studied with the late Gale Bennett.
She has taught classes in Pittsburgh, Penn., and exhibited in the Three Rivers Arts Festival there. She loves to work with color and expresses it in her paintings.
Her work ranges from the abstract to impressionism and she paints on canvas, wood, and paper in acrylics and mixed media.
The wonderful views from this area have inspired many of her paintings and she is also a member of the Plein Art Group and the Oregon Watercolor Society.
Recently, she completed building a studio on her property and is planning on classes later in the year. While in Pennsylvania and later in Florida, she also did professional photography and painted studio backdrops which she sold to many studios in several states.
