Harry Potter movie featured at center
Enjoy popcorn at the movies.
Harry Potter will star on the screen at the Jefferson County Library's Community Film Center in February.
Movies are shown for free at the center located in the Rodriguez Annex at 134 S.E. E St. Madras, and refreshments are available.
Friday, Feb. 3, 7:30 p.m., "Deathly Hollows -- Part 2"(PG-13). The final chapter of the Harry Potter series begins as Harry, Ron, and Hermione continue their quest of finding and destroying the Dark Lord's three remaining Horcruxes, the magical items responsible for his immortality.
But as the mystical Deathly Hallows are uncovered, and Voldemort finds out about their mission, the biggest battle begins and life as they know it will never be the same again.
Friday, Feb. 10, 7:30 p.m., "What About Bob?" (PG).
Starring Bill Murray and Richard Dreyfuss, the comedy is about a successful psychiatrist (Dreyfuss) who loses his mind after one of his most dependent patients, a highly manipulative obsessive-compulsive, tracks him down during his family vacation.
Friday, Feb. 17, 7:30 p.m., "The Help."
An aspiring author, during the civil rights movement of the 1960s, decides to write a book detailing the African-American maid's point of view on the white families for which they work, and the hardships they go through on a daily basis.
