Gallery features four artists
Opening reception on Friday
Four Tumalo artists will be featured in July at Art Adventure Gallery in Madras.
An opening reception will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m., Friday, July 2, at the gallery.
A love of artistic expression brings artist Janice Druian, Dorothy Freudenberg, Laura Jo Sherman and Vicky Shuck together. All are members of the Tumalo Art Company in Bend.
Druian's work is reminiscent of the plein air and impressionist works of the California and New Mexico artists of the last century.
Freudenberg is a photographer, who now embraces digital technologies to produce multimedia works.
Sherman specializes in Oregon landscapes and does a great deal of her work onsite.
Shuck, a noted regional figurative painter, immediately transports viewers into the scene with her paintings of a lunch counter, the county fair, an intimate moment between a mother and child.
