Breaks my heart

As a father and a fellow American, I was once more saddened by the loss of a fellow American. To open my morning paper and see a picture of that brave young man, Thomas Tucker, just breaks my heart.
Although I'm 3,000 miles away, I still feel the pain, the anger, the loss. No, I never had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Tucker, but I see my son, and my grandsons, when I look into his eyes.
I wish I could make this nightmare go away. My heart goes out to the Tucker family. Thank you, Mr. Tucker, for defending America. For making it a safer place for my family. I salute you, sire.
   God bless.
