The Fourth of July will be celebrated early at the Crooked River Ranch Lions Club's 27th Annual Buffalo Burger Feed, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, July 1, at McPherson Park.
The day begins with a parade at 10 a.m., starting from the Trading Post, followed by the buffalo burger feed.
The menu includes a choice of buffalo burgers or Polish hot dogs, both with baked beans, chips, and soda or iced tea. The burger meal is $6 and the hot dog meal is $3.
Desserts will be sold by the Mariposa Lily Garden Club of Crooked River Ranch.
There will also be entertainment by Don Banich, a silent auction, Crooked River Ranch Crafters, and the Lions Club train for kids to ride.
A mobile health screening unit will be on hand to provide free testing for high blood pressure, diabetes, glaucoma, hearing, and more.
