Joy Davis and Larry Lewis were united in marriage Sept. 10, at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd in Madras, in a ceremony officiated by Pastor Jan Kozak.
The bride is the daughter of Ed and Tonya Davis of Madras, and the groom is the son of Bert and Addy Lewis of Washington, and the late Christine Lewis.
The bride wore a strapless ivory wedding gown, accented with beading, and a bolero jacket. She carried a bridal bouquet with a mixture of dahlias, roses, and gerbera daisies, in a variety of purples and ivory.
The maid of honor was Olivia Davis, and the bridesmaid was Abby Davis, sisters of the bride, who wore short, halter top, eggplant-colored dresses by Alfred Angelo. They carried small bouquets that matched the bride's.
The best man was Bert Lewis, father of the groom.
A reception was held outside the church under a tent, with decor by O'Brien Rentals. The tables were decorated with ivory tablecloths and napkins, with an eggplant-colored runner, and alternating flower arrangements and candles served as the centerpieces. The flowers, by Garden Gate Flowers of Madras, were done in a variety of purples, with white and ivory.
A catered dinner was served by Country Catering of Bend, and the wedding cake was by Kellie's Cakes of Redmond. Music for the reception was provided by DJ Jarred of Redmond, and photos were done by OoDaLolly Photography of Madras.
All the guests went home with personalized M&Ms and chocolates as party favors.
The couple honeymooned in the Canyon View suite of the Pine Ridge Inn in Bend.
They recently purchased their first home in Madras. The groom is employed with School District 509-J in Madras, and the Sandbagger Saloon and Restaurant at Crooked River Ranch. The bride works in Bend for a technical support company.
