New restaurant to be called "The Spot"

Developer Andre Jackson hopes the name of the restaurant will prompt people to ask why "The Spot"?

After tearing down some history, the building that housed the Wild Bleu restaurant, and later the Dancing Bean Café, developer Andre Jackson wants his new restaurant to honor the history that went on before.

Jackson gathered people he trusted knew the history of the area: historian and author Jerry Ramsey, long-time reporter and historical society member Holly Gill, former county commissioner and realtor Mike Ahern, Madras City Development Director Nick Snead, and Madras City Recorder Lysa Vattimo.
