The Oregon State Marine Board sent 40 trainees out to Lake Billy Chinook for their annual marine law enforcement training academy.

The marine board has hosted this training at Lake Billy Chinook for the past five years. “It’s a central location for people across the state, and the facilities are perfect,” said Edward Persichetti, the Marine Board Law Enforcement Training Coordinator. “The lake here is perfect for a variety of training scenarios and there are plenty of amenities like hotels and the large boat ramp that makes it the perfect spot.”
